Job Description:

We are seeking skilled C++ Developers to join our fast-paced team, delivering crucial capabilities to national defense. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end software processing of Overhead Persistent InfraRed (OPIR) sensor data, supporting critical areas such as Missile Warning, Missile Defense, Battlespace Awareness, and Technical Intelligence.

As part of our collaborative and agile small-team environment, you will have the opportunity to engineer, prototype, develop, integrate, and test advanced software solutions within Government frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently handle program tasks or features, and may lead small projects or significant tasks within an Agile team.
• Demonstrate fluent and idiomatic mastery of C++, along with strong software design and architecture skills.
• Provide thought leadership at a team level, contributing to innovative solutions.
• Regularly communicate with customers, present project status, and actively engage in program-level meetings and processes.

About You:

To thrive in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in the physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or computer science.
• A minimum of eight years of professional experience and a strong proficiency in C++.
• At least two years of professional experience using Linux operating systems.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• Knowledge of writing and debugging Makefiles, as well as writing and debugging shell scripts.
• Familiarity with Data Structures.

Preferred Skills:

While not mandatory, the following skills and experiences would be advantageous:

• An advanced degree in the physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or computer science.
• Experience with software prototyping, development, and integration within government frameworks.
• Familiarity with the exploitation and analysis of OPIR, E/O, SAR, Spectral, RF, or other remotely sensed data.
• Professional experience with DevSecOps.
• Professional or academic experience with Agile software development.
