Summary

HII-Mission Technologies is currently seeking a skilled Systems Project Manager to join our growing team supporting the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) in Quantico, VA! This role is responsible for the performance of technical projects and/or a definable portion of a larger technical program in accordance with contract requirements, as well as company policies, procedures, and guidelines. This role will direct and supervise all support resources for the performance of project assignments and activities. This position will also be on a hybrid work schedule, including telework!

What you will do

• Manages the technical direction of a project through the design, implementation, and testing in accordance with project objectives
• Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects
• Takes projects from original concept through final implementation
• Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services
• Assists customer in defining project scope and objectives
• Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
• Manage project priorities and provide guidance and direction to the project team to achieve customer expectations
• Conduct risk assessments
• Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis
• Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables
• Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team
• Participates in driving initiatives for achieving established objectives
• Responsible for the preparation of and accountability of contract deliverables
• Responsible for assisting in the technical leadership and direction for a multidisciplinary staff
• Develop and operate a variety of technical systems related to the specific job function
• Specify systems requirements and ensure that completed systems meet requirements
• Prepares and approves standard operating procedures, protocols, and other technical documentation
• Conducts briefings and technical meetings for all levels, to include senior leadership
• Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management
• Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports
• Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
• Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, and clients
• Other duties as assigned or required

Minimum Qualifications

• 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience
• Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance

Preferred Requirements

• Experience helping organizations to transition to Agile concepts
• Experience with Amazon Web Service (AWS)
• Knowledge of data architectures and concepts related to data warehousing/data lakes

Physical Requirements

Minimal mobility, dexterity, or coordination required to operate common business machines. Maximum lifting required is approximately 40 pounds from floor to three feet in height.
