This is a dynamic position with the opportunity for the right candidate to shape their own role to provide the greatest value to the customer. The position is fully remote, but must be within a reasonable driving distance to Fort Belvoir, VA when on-site meetings/work is required.

Responsibilities- Ensures proper cloud systems configuration while assessing and mitigating any vulnerabilities of the stored data
- Oversight of the network, corporate and hosted infrastructure and application security
- Performs information security assessments or audits of internal networks and systems
- Ability to perform log analysis, using tools such as IDS, IPS and/or other signature technologies
- Provides 1st and 2nd level troubleshooting support for security applications and systems
- Collaborates with Client technical teams for issue resolution and mitigation
- Analyzes various methods of controlling information security issues, determines the strengths and weaknesses of each method, and implements the Client's chosen solution
- Provide threat and vulnerability analysis security advisory services
- Performs information security assessments or audits of internal networks and systems
- Serves as team lead, driving goals and performance for Level 1 and Level 2 Cyber Defense Analysts
- Be a leader in the expansion and growth of the Cloud Cybersecurity Defense Center
- Collaborate with client technical teams for issue resolution and mitigation
- To integrate information and network security solutions
- To analyze various methods of controlling information security problems, determine the strengths and weaknesses of each method and implement the best cost justified solution
- To identify weak links in information security products, and determine how to mitigate the control deficiencies
- As the position requires flexibility, other duties as assigned
QualificationsMinimum Requirements:- Minimum 10 years of experience in Cloud Cybersecurity Defense
- CISSP certification or equivalent experience.
- Foundational Cloud Certification
- ITIL v3 Foundations or equivalent
- DoD 8570.01 Information Assurance Technical 3 (IAT Level 3) certified (e.g. CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, CCSP)
- Must be a US Citizen and possess/maintain an active DoD TS/SCI security clearance
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to regularly lift at least 25 pounds
- Ability to commute to the designated onsite work location as required
Preferred Qualifications:- Additional DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical 3 (IAT Level 3) certifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Additional cloud certifications across CSPs (i.e. AWS, Azure, Google, etc.)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
