Nightshift Weekdays 9/80 schedule. This position may be filled as either a level 3 or level 4 depending on qualification belowBasic Qualifications:Principal Facilities Engineer (Level 3):- Bachelor's Degree in STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) with 5 years of Engineering experience in the following engineering fields: Power Systems, Power, Electrical, Electronics, Construction, Mechanical Design, Engineering, Design, Facilities, Operations, Aerospace, Control OR Master's degree with 3 years of experience in mentioned fields OR PhD in STEM with 0 year of experience in mentioned fields.
- Must be a US citizen.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- Ability to obtain Special Program Access.
Sr. Principal Facilities Engineer (Level 4):- Bachelor's Degree in STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) with 8 years of Engineering experience in the following engineering fields: Power Systems, Power, Electrical, Electronics, Construction, Mechanical Design, Engineering, Design, Facilities, Operations, Aerospace, Control OR Master's degree with 6 years of experience in mentioned fields OR PhD in STEM with 3 year of experience in mentioned fields.
- Must be a US citizen.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- Ability to obtain Special Program Access.
Preferred Qualifications:- Understanding of the NEC and NFPA 70E
- Revit and AutoCAD drafting experience.
- Experience designing and commissioning power distribution systems.
- Must be able to maintain one line drawing for multiple buildings.
- Experience supporting manufacturing facilities.
- Interpret building and utility drawings and make the revisions as required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Utah Code and Regulatory requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills in managing time, projects, and resources.
- Applied knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project)
- Ability to design security systems to the ICD705 is preferred.
