Senior Technical Professional Leader / Systems Engineer to join our team supporting
PMA-231 Advanced Programs for the E-2D aircraft platform. The successful candidate will directly support the government Level II program managers on the E-2D Block II Upgrade to ensure it meets design and performance criteria as specified in the E-2 Weapon Systems Specification and derivative design documents. The candidate shall apply senior level systems engineering analysis to all requirements, designs, models, reviews, briefs, meetings, tests and concepts of operation regarding the Block II Upgrade of the E-2D. The candidate will lead a team of KBR CSS personnel tasked to support Block II and will provide them with guidance and training as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Directly support PMA-231 Block II Level II Leads for Theater Combat Identification (TCID) and the Hawkeye Cockpit Technical Refresh (HECTR)
- Manage and support the design, development, qualification, evaluation, test and retrofit of the Block II tactical weapon system.
- Participate in AGILE orientated Systems Engineering Reviews (SETR).
- Prepare documentation and briefings to update program status including recent developments, plans forward, deficiencies encountered, funding analysis, and action item tracking.
- Work as a team to liaison with the prime and sub vendors during program development phases to maintain costs and budget alignment/milestones.
- Review, evaluate, and verify that the developed subsystems meet contracted Navy specifications and requirements defined in the Statement of Work (SOW). Supporting PMA-231 Lead Engineer in maintain Engineer Disciplines.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or applied science from an accredited college or university.
Experience: A minimum of twelve (12) years of professional-related experience.
Clearance & Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen. Active/Current DoD Secret Clearance + SSBI completed within the last 5 years. Active/current Top Secret Clearance preferred. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:- E-2D Platform Experience
- AGILE project management experience
- Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) exposure
- DOORs Database Experience
- CAMEO and JIRA Systems Engineering Modeling Applications
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week
Compensation: $160,000-240,000.The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
