Model Based Systems Engineer, Senior to join our team in the
Lexington Park, MD area. This is a on contractor site position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems
- Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation
- Applies systems engineering experience to perform system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management
- Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, tests, or evaluates software, components, or systems related to requirements of military weapons systems
Minimum Qualifications:- A Master of Arts (MA) or Master of Science (MS) degree is required; a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a Technical or Scientific area plus four (4) years of additional work experience may be substituted for a Master's degree
- Candidates must have a minimum of four (4) years recent and relevant Systems Engineering experience with Model-Based Engineering/Digital Engineering applications and technology
- Experience using MBSE Tools, such as Cameo System Modeler, Cameo Enterprise Architect, Teamwork Cloud, and Cameo Collaborator
- This position may require travel within the United States (less than 10%)
Preferred Qualifications:Clearance Requirements:- Must be a US Citizen.
- An active interim Top Secret clearance is required to perform work on this contract.
Physical Requirements:- Tasking is primarily computer based. The person in this position must be able to operate and perform tasking on a PC.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers, Customers, and management through email, phone, and other virtual communication methods (e.g. TEAMS, ZOOM).
The projected compensation range for this position is $110,800.00-$185,500.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
