💡 About the Role:

We are seeking a Data Scientist to develop and deploy cutting-edge AI/ML solutions for the Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD). You will work across the entire software development lifecycle—from research and prototyping to integration and deployment—leveraging FOSS/GOTS/COTS technologies. If you're passionate about solving real-world national security challenges through AI/ML, this role is for you.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

✔️ AI/ML Model Development: Architect, prototype, develop, test, and deploy modern ML models and algorithms.
✔️ Model Performance Tuning: Optimize model performance through continuous data acquisition and refinement.
✔️ Data Engineering: Support data selection, preprocessing, curation, and ETL for AI/ML solutions.
✔️ System Integration: Ensure smooth integration with external software systems and pipelines.

🎯 What You’ll Bring:

✅ Required Skills & Experience:

🔹 Python Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Python for AI/ML applications.
🔹 ML Frameworks: Strong experience with PyTorch for deep learning model development.
🔹 Custom Model Training: Hands-on experience training custom datasets with state-of-the-art models.
🔹 GPU Performance Optimization: Understanding of modern AI/ML algorithms and their real-world performance on GPUs.
🔹 Unix/Linux Proficiency: Experience developing software in Unix/Linux environments.
🔹 Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
🔹 Security Clearance: Must have Active TS/SCI clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).

⭐ Preferred Qualifications:

🔹 ML/DL Frameworks: Experience with PyTorch Lightning, TensorFlow, Keras, FastAI, Scikit-Learn, etc.
🔹 Deep Learning Domains: NLP, Computer Vision, Time Series Analysis, Perception, etc.
🔹 Advanced ML Techniques: Experience with Self-Supervised Learning, Transfer Learning, Transformers, and Generative Models.
🔹 Security Clearance: Active TS with SSBI highly preferred.

💰 Compensation & Benefits:

💵 Salary Range: $125,000 - $165,000
💰 Total Compensation (w/ SEP IRA Contribution): Up to $206,000
