💡 About the Role:

We are seeking a Software Engineer to develop and deploy advanced multi-INT tipping and cueing solutions to enhance Automatic Target Recognition (ATR) and site change detection. Your work will directly impact DoD/IC Object Management systems, assisting analysts in prioritizing high-value imagery and integrating auto-point mensuration capabilities to reduce target location errors.

You will be part of an agile team responsible for developing, maintaining, and deploying a microservices-based system using cutting-edge COTS tools and cloud environments.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

✔️ Software Development, DevOps, and Systems Engineering—own the full lifecycle of system development and deployment
✔️ Build, maintain, and deploy microservices in a containerized environment
✔️ Migrate from a Docker-based system to a cloud-hosted Kubernetes cluster
✔️ Develop and integrate solutions with RESTful APIs, ActiveMQ, and other external systems

🎯 What You’ll Bring:

✅ 5+ years of professional software development experience
✅ Proficiency in:

  • Java, Python, Node.js
  • Jira & Confluence (Atlassian tools)
  • Linux & Windows operating systems
    ✅ Containerization & Deployment:
  • Docker & Docker-compose (proficient)
  • Kubernetes (deployment and cluster management)
    ✅ Database Management:
  • SQL & NoSQL databases (CRUD operations, API integrations)
    ✅ Messaging & Event Streaming:
  • ActiveMQ (development and usage)
    ✅ RESTful API Development & Integration

🔥 Preferred Skills (Bonus!):

🔹 Visualization & Monitoring: Grafana
🔹 Databases: GeoServer, InfluxDB, MongoDB, SQLite
🔹 Messaging & Event Streaming: Apache Kafka
🔹 Frameworks:

💰 Compensation & Benefits:

💵 Salary: $135,000 - $170,000
💰 Total Compensation (w/ SEP IRA Contribution): Up to $212,500
