💡 About the Role:

As a Software Engineer, you will develop and deploy cutting-edge solutions for the Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD). You will work with a combination of FOSS, GOTS, and COTS software and hardware to tackle real-world mission-critical challenges.

Your role will span the entire software development lifecycle, from research and prototyping to integration, development, and deployment.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

✔️ Develop and deploy software solutions using Java and Python
✔️ Design, build, and maintain microservices within a Docker containerized environment
✔️ Deploy and optimize software solutions in a cloud-based environment
✔️ Develop software in a Unix/Linux environment
✔️ Integrate external software systems and provide design recommendations for new and existing capabilities
✔️ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex engineering challenges

🎯 What You’ll Bring:

✅ 3+ years of professional experience in software development
✅ Proficiency in:

• Java & Python (essential for microservices and backend development)
• Microservice architectures & Docker containerized environments
• Cloud-based deployments (AWS, Azure, or similar)
• Unix/Linux development
  ✅ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent technical discipline
  ✅ Familiarity with:
• Network technologies: HTTP, REST
• DevSecOps tools and methodologies
• Message brokers: ActiveMQ, Kafka

🔥 Preferred Skills (Bonus!):

🔹 Version Control & CI/CD: Git, GitLab
🔹 Application Servers: Apache Tomcat
🔹 Logging & Monitoring: ELK Stack (or equivalent technologies)

💰 Compensation & Benefits:

💵 Salary: $130,000 - $225,000
💰 Total Compensation (w/ SEP IRA Contribution): Up to $300,000+
