Project Manager (TS Clearance Required)
Zimmerman Associates, Inc. (ZAI) is pursuing a new federal contract opportunity and is seeking an experienced Project Manager with an active Top-Secret Clearance to lead a team of contractor support personnel. This role is central to ensuring high‑quality contract performance, seamless client engagement, and successful delivery of all program requirements.
Role Overview
The Project Manager will organize, direct, and manage all contract operations, overseeing multiple complex and interrelated tasks. This position serves as the primary interface with senior‑level Government stakeholders and Contractor leadership, ensuring alignment on task plans, deliverables, schedules, and costs.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and supervising a team of contractor support personnel.
Managing day‑to‑day contract operations and ensuring all tasks are completed successfully.
Maintaining strong client relationships at senior levels across the contract.
Meeting regularly with Government and Contractor personnel to review plans, progress, and deliverables.
Ensuring compliance with program schedules, cost parameters, and performance standards.
Preparing and maintaining technical and financial reports for Government and Contractor management.
Delegating responsibilities effectively and monitoring team performance.
Providing timely acknowledgment and responses to Government communications within 24 hours (during normal business hours).
Work Schedule & Location
Primary duty location: Washington, D.C.
Onsite presence required to supervise personnel and monitor contract activities.
Work schedule must align with core hours and fall within 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM ET, Monday–Friday.
Required Qualifications
Active Top-Secret clearance (current and verifiable).
Minimum of 5 years of experience providing program or project management support services, specifically supporting a Records Management program.
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in information management, information technology, business administration or a field that balances records and information management services with business leadership.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi‑task operations in a federal contracting environment.
Strong communication, leadership, and client‑facing skills.
