You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST in the WARFIGHTING REQUIREMENTS AND ASSESSMENT (N8) Division of COMNAVSURFLANT.

To qualify for a GS-13, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing policy oversight and serving as the technical authority for the management of CNO Special Access Control Programs. Experience governing security manuals, procedures, policy guidelines and regulations for special access and other related or unrelated specialized security programs. Experience demonstrating a thorough knowledge of all security concepts, principles and practices to advise all supported commands and subject matter managers in new developments and advances in physical security techniques. Experience applying policy direction to specific operating requirements and developing guidance for applying security policy, procedures, techniques, equipment and methods to a variety of work situations and various levels of security controls. Experience communicating both orally and in writing to senior flag level military officers and equivalent civilian officials, conduct briefs, and prepare reports and correspondence. Experience meeting and interacting with a variety of military, civilian and program management personnel in an independent role. Preferred: Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) and Certificates that show knowledge of this specific job.
