- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (GED) Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or Operations Management preferred.
- Minimum two years’ experience in requisitioning of material, tracking and accountability of material and equipment.
- Deep practical knowledge of Department of the Navy logistics infrastructure, tracking codes, and federal supply classifications
- Competency utilizing military database architectures to track high-value parts, audit material chains of custody, and adjust stocking criteria.
- Navy database systems, inventory reconciliation modules, and data analysis software to oversee complex technical data pipelines
- Have written and oral communications abilities commensurate with this management role.
- Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Ability to understand, speak, read, and write the English language.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, Government Representative, and outside contacts.
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record.
Physical Demands
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged period amounts of time.
- Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically.
- High noise levels are common as is the potential exposure to heat/cold, noise, dusts, mist, and/or fumes.
Security Requirements: Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
