Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Managing the security of programs, personnel, and resources using Special Access Program (SAP) procedures, policy guidelines, and regulations; 2) Reviewing, analyzing, and resolving difficult and complex security problems using security concepts, principles, and practices; 3) Interpreting and implementing information, personnel, and physical security regulations and manuals; 4) Administering and evaluating sensitive projects, testing, and security operations; 5) Managing and evaluating Automated Information Systems (AIS) security equipment, programs, alarm systems, entry-control systems, and intrusion-detection systems. DA-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band (DA-02) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Applying security concepts, principles, and practices to review, analyze, and resolve security problems; 2) Using knowledge of information and personnel security program regulations and physical security manuals; 3) Initiating and administering sensitive projects, testing, and security operations; 4) Working with Automated Information Systems (AIS) security equipment, programs, alarm systems, entry-control systems, and intrusion-detection systems; 5) Using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Adobe Acrobat.
