Job Description:

Syneren is currently seeking a Program Manager.

Required experience:

• Must have 10 years managing IT projects, at least 5 of which must be software engineering projects   

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of IT project management experience.
• 5+ years managing government, defense, intelligence, or federal IT programs, software engineering projects.
• Experience leading cross-functional technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Project lifecycle management
• Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
• Risk management
• Budget and resource management
• Change management
• IT infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, or software development projects
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, or ServiceNow.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and manage IT projects from initiation through closeout.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with government stakeholders, contractors, and technical teams.
• Track project milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Ensure compliance with federal security and cybersecurity requirements.
• Present project status reports to leadership and customers.
• Manage contract deliverables and performance metrics.

Preferred Government Experience

• DoD, Intelligence Community (IC), DHS, DOJ, or other federal agency programs.
• Experience with NIST, RMF, FedRAMP, or cybersecurity compliance initiatives.
• Experience supporting classified environments.

Required Qualifications:

• Top Secret Clearance
• Azure Fundamentals Certificate
• At least one of the following: PMI certification or a ITIL certification (ITIL Foundation or higher level of certification);  or Master's degree in Program Management.
• IAT I Certification IAW DoD (For DoD IAT Level 1, you must have one of the following certifications - Security Plus, A+ CE, CCNA-Security, Network+ CE, SSCP, or IAT II or III.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• DoD full lifecycle Software development experience
• Agile / DevSecOps Software development experience
• System / Application Operations and Service Desk Management experience
• Azure / Cloud migration experience
