You will serve as a SECURITY ASSISTANT (SCI) in the Special Security Office (SSO) Staff of the Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO) of NAVOCEANO BAY ST LOUIS.
['You will perform a wide variety of specialized security technical support and administrative duties in direct support of the Special Security Officer (SSO).', 'You will control, receipt, log, process, and dispatch all incoming and outgoing classified material, with primary emphasis on Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).', 'You will review candidate submissions for completeness, consistency, and adherence to Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 704 standards prior to submission.', 'You will monitor perimeter access, inspects secure container locking mechanisms, verify alarm testing logs, and reports physical deficiencies or security anomalies.']
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of SPECIALIZED experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Prepare, receive, send, process, maintain, inventory, and/or control, documents, equipment, packages, media, and sensitive and/or classified material. Maintain an automated inventory system to facilitate search and retrieval of sensitive and/or classified material for all users. Typing interoffice memoranda, establishing and maintaining files, recording Time & Attendance, processing travel orders, and operating communications equipment. Provide support to with personnel security actions.
