Valiant is looking for a Transportation Cell Leader to join our team!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serves as transportation management coordinator for the RSOI&R.
  • Coordinates efforts, monitors, controls and supervises the movement of personnel, equipment, and cargo by ground or air.
  • Determines the most efficient mode of transport that accomplishes mission requirements in accordance with the Statement of work.
  • Assists in the responsibility for the administrative, technical and operational aspects associated with the Transportation organization.
  • Supervises, trains and manages all assigned Transportation personnel
  • First line supervisory responsibilities.
  • Performs other duties in accordance with Mission Support Contract requirements as directed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:  Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, Active Secret preferred.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:High School Diploma or equivalent.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior Senior NCO or Officer with tactical transportation management experience or civilian/government equivalent.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Must be able to travel unaccompanied throughout the continental US, and foreign Countries.
  • Individual must submit to and pass initial drug screening; will be subject to random drug screening;
  • Possess a valid state driver’s license and CDL, or be able to obtain a CDL with Hazardous material endorsement.
  • Must be able to work shift work and weekends

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Supervisor in transportation and Heavy Truck Driver management.
  • Supervision of more than 50 heavy truck drivers.

PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Individual must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, be in good physical condition.
  • Able to work outside;.
