As a Psychological Operations (PSYOP) planner, you use your specialized technical skills and experience and your attention to detail to develop products to give your customer the information and expertise they need. As a PSYOP planner, you’ll help your customer understand their information environment. You’ll serve as lead for a Combatant Command's PSYOP program, conduct deliberate and contingency PSYOP planning, functional plan development and validation, coordination, and integration in conjunction with higher headquarters, components, DoW, and U.S. government interagency actors. You’ll provide PSYOP-relevant quality input to strategic and operational plans, contingency plans, operations orders, execution orders, fragmentary orders, and strategic operational analysis reports and provide doctrine, operations, policy, and authorities subject matter expertise and integration of lessons learned to support senior leader decision making. You’ll conduct and validate research and analysis and prepare information papers, decision papers, and briefings to inform customer leadership. As the authority on your topic, your customer will look to you for time critical recommendations, often under pressure. This is a chance to grow your expertise and broaden your skillset. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
