Software Engineer and Advanced Security Operations Reverse Engineer This role involves designing, developing, prototyping, modifying, and integrating solutions to provide mission-centric results as part of up-and-coming projects at Neural Solutions. You will collaborate closely with analysts, operators, data scientists, and other software engineers to offer tactical support. Responsibilities: Augment existing toolsets. Derive, document, and analyze requirements. Produce end-to-end toolsets that can operate within mission constraints. Participate in peer code reviews to reduce defects. Build prototypes to demonstrate understanding of mission requirements. Required Skills: Produce and modify software systems in C/C++/Python/Assembly. In-depth understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP) and analysis of network traffic (Wireshark). Provide support for fielded software systems. Familiarity with Git and Subversion. Experience with Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence). Nice to Have: Experience with reverse engineering Windows or embedded platforms (RTOS). Experience with developing advanced security operations specific software in Windows/Linux/Embedded applications. Experience with Java, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell, Perl, C#, Rust. Familiarity with vulnerability research and exploit development. Knowledge of end-to-end signals intelligence collection and analysis systems. Experience Required: 12 years with Bachelor’s degree in technical field, or 10 years without degree Location: Columbia, MD Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph required Salary Range: $204,000 - $247,000
