SIGINT Analytics is seeking an experienced Signals Analyst (ELINT Focus) to support the evaluation, validation, and tuning of advanced ELINT processing systems. This role centers on assessing the quality of processed ELINT data, tuning software controls, evaluating signal processing algorithms, and delivering mission-focused briefings to Government stakeholders.
The ideal candidate understands both the operational ELINT mission and the technical processing chain, and can bridge the gap between algorithm developers, software engineers, and end users.
Evaluate processed ELINT data for accuracy, completeness, and mission relevance.
Perform quality assurance and validation of signal parameter extraction (frequency, PRI, PW, modulation, emitter characteristics, etc.).
Tune and adjust software processing controls to optimize detection, classification, and geolocation performance.
Assess and provide feedback on signal processing algorithms, including detection thresholds, clustering logic, deinterleaving performance, and classification models.
Conduct anomaly analysis to identify data inconsistencies, processing artifacts, or algorithm drift.
Collaborate with software engineers and data scientists to refine processing pipelines and improve system performance.
Support system-level test events, verification activities, and operational demonstrations.
Develop technical assessments, white papers, and briefing materials.
Deliver concise and mission-focused briefings to Government customers and program leadership.
Provide recommendations for algorithm improvement and mission performance enhancement.
Active TS/SCI clearance (CI Polygraph required by contract).
5+ years of experience in SIGINT/ELINT analysis.
Strong understanding of:
Radar signal characteristics
Emitter identification methodologies
Deinterleaving and signal parameter extraction
RF spectrum behavior and signal propagation
Experience working with ELINT processing systems, mission applications, or national/tactical exploitation platforms.
Ability to analyze structured and unstructured signal datasets.
Experience supporting Government technical reviews or operational briefings.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience supporting AI/ML-enabled signal processing systems.
Familiarity with algorithm performance evaluation metrics (precision, recall, false alarm rate, ROC curves, confusion matrices).
Experience tuning detection thresholds or classification parameters.
Background in mission engineering or system-level integration.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Scripting or data analysis experience (Python, MATLAB, SQL).
Analytical rigor and attention to signal-level detail.
Ability to operate across operational and technical domains.
Clear and concise technical communication.
Mission-first mindset.
Collaborative engagement with engineering teams.
