Candidate may be involved in multiple aspects of aircraft subsystem development including electrical design, analysis, harness design, requirements, and working shipside to help troubleshoot issues. Key Responsibilities May Include: Developing aircraft electrical wiring designs of a functional system including the selection of aircraft type conductors and electro mechanical components such as connectors, backshells, relays, switches, circuit breakers, terminal junction systems, termination hardware, etc in accordance with SAE AS 50881, IPC/WHMA A 620, and proven commercial practices. Familiarity with EMI shielding and separation requirements.

Experience with designing electrical wiring interconnection systems (EWIS) using ECAD software tools such as Siemens (Mentor Graphics) Capital Harness, Zuken or equivalent Familiarity working with harness fabrication shops. experience, OR Master’s degree AND 3 years of engineering

qualifications of the Sr Principal Engineer Electrical are a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering AND 8 years of engineering

experience in electrical design of air vehicle systems, OR Master’s degree AND 6 years of engineering

experience. Must have an active DoD Secret or higher

clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation). Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret

clearance (Interim Top Secret or higher must be obtained prior to the commencement of employment)
