Role description & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will work under general instruction in the Digital Design and Integration group supporting modeling, drafting, and engineering. The successful candidate will have responsibility for modeling and drafting of mechanical components, electrical harnesses, assemblies and design support in the aerospace industry. Specific roles and responsibilities for this position include the following: Create 3D geometric models Annotate PMI models, and/or create drawings using Siemens NX design tool Create and maintain part, assembly and electrical harness models per NG and program modeling procedures Investigate design solutions Provide drawings for next generation rocket motor design Assist in the definition, development, and qualification of design changes Apply acquired jobs skills and knowledge to achieve targets technical, cost, and schedule This requisition may be filled at either a Designer 2 or Principal Designer 3 level.
