What You’ll Get To Do: The selected candidate will be responsible for a Mechanical Design Guidance Computer (GC) Section within the SDS Design Engineering organization, AVE Element and will report directly to an SDS Mechanical Design Engineering Department Manager. As a Mechanical Engineering Manager 2, you will be required to provide a wide range of people leadership and mentoring activities.

Experience managing a Program effort or Major Subcontract (in either a supply chain, SMT, or program/project management role)
Experience identifying and tracking program risks and opportunities
Experience with the manufacturing of electronic systems Demonstrated understanding of Lean, Agile or Six Sigma Tools.
