The Supervisor Logistics will lead an area focused on the planning and execution of Receiving, Warehousing and Material Distribution operations for Raytheon Missile and Defense working onsite at the Tucson Airport Facility or Rita Road Facility. Tasks to be performed will entail Providing strong organizational management and labor relations experience. They will be required to manage all warehousing and or material distribution activities for the site and implement improvement opportunities, drive solutions, along with the ability to resolve conflict within a matrix organization. The candidate must think independently, communicate effectively, and provide leadership while working closely with other disciplines. What You Will Do Coordinate with workforce planning, track employee training, certify timecard and attendance management, create area layout and flow management. Responsible for providing a safe work environment and will actively lead and engage in safety improvements discussions. Assign daily activities, conduct stand up meetings, set priorities and review reports/metrics to locate problem areas and create solutions. Assist with accountability of material from receipt to throughout processing period in a timely manner and assist with lost/frustrated material. Coordinate Overtime when required, and log/track hours in OTIS. Clear understanding of hazardous materials classifications, specifically Class 1 Investigate accidents/incidents and prepare RCAS analysis for logistics review boards. Order supplies as required.
