What You Will Do: Perform trade studies and design reviews Briefings to Program and customer Management Design of Satellite ground terminal hardware specifications and architecture
Travel:up to 20% will be required. Qualifications:You Must Have: Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant ior relevant experience to include any combination of the following:Experience with RF communications
Experience with RF hardware processes and / or installation of hardware.
Experience with RF system integration
Experience with test and verification methodologies associated with ground station antenna and antenna electronics.
Experience with RF system integration and formal test and verification methodologies associated with ground station antenna and antenna electronics.
Experience with Satellite Ground Station architecture and design
Experience with
requirements and specifications for ground station antenna to include systems performance measurements (G/T, EIRP, etc), and general maintenance activities Active and transferable TS/SCI U.S. government issued security
clearance is required prior to start date.
Qualifications We Prefer: Understanding of reflector system design, antenna feed design, solid state amplifiers performance parameters, high power tube amplifiers technology and associated key performance parameters. Ability to translate mission needs into technical capability
requirements.
Experience with performing trade studies; recommending solutions; and, identifying potential vendors
Experience with reference timing signals and distribution design Computer networking, basic cyber security/INFOSEC, Security certification or equivalent desirable Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant
