Northrop Grumman Mission Systems has an opening for a Sr Principal Chief Engineer Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead with a technical background in RF hardware test and troubleshooting and some form of leadership experience. This position is located in Linthicum, MD. Roles & Responsibilities: Lead an engineering team working to transition designs to production for a very important sector priority program with many time critical elements and high management visibility. Interface with Engineering & Program Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Mission Assurance. Brief internal and potentially external customer leadership on progress. Perform in a fast paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings. The selected candidates are expected to be self motivated, highly organized, and detail oriented and possess effective verbal and written communication skills. Basic ills. Qualifications:Experience working in the BWI T2 test cell
Experience working with cross functional teams to drive test and production improvements
Experience with REX (receiver/exciter) hardware Integration and test
Experience reporting project status to program, functional management or customers Knowledge of the Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
Experience driving recovery through development and execution of return to green plans
Experience with the Root Cause Correction Action (RCCA) process PMP certification a plus Active and current Top Secret government
