Responsibilities
TheTechnical Project Manageris responsibleformanagingprojects to make sure that the proposed plan adheres to the timeline,budgetand scope.It managesspecific projects assigned by theProgram Manager, to include project requirements, scope, budget, schedule, and performance. TheTPM rolemonitors, adjusts, and reports on the project’s performance, budget, and schedule. TheTPM roleprovidesinterim progress reviewsuntil completion. TheTPM roleassistswith proposing, implementing, and enforcingprogrampolicies, standards, and methodologies andis responsible foreither developing or supervising the preparation of studies, reports, and acquisition documents. TheTPM roleworksfrom the latestclientapproved version of the ProjectManagementProcesses (PMP). The PMP is an evolutionary document thatisupdated annually at a minimum and as project changes occur.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projectsServes as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.Reviews status of projects and budgets.Manages schedules.Prepares status reports.Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals andobjectives.Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, customers, and other stakeholders.Documentandmaintainall support requirements in aProgram Manager and client approvedPMP.Maintaindetailed SOPs forimplementation on program, including milestones, tasks, and subtasks.Providefor an overall Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) with a minimum of three levels and associated responsibilities and partnerships betweenthe client(i.e., Components, Commands,etc.) and contractorprogramorganizations.Documentin detail theProgram Manager’sQMP and approach to risk management.Documentin detail the ProgramManager’s approach to communications, including processes, procedures, format, and other rules of engagement.Maintain the location of technical and project managementbaselines.**Position is Contingent on Contract Award**
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:Active Top Secret/ Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with ability to pass/obtain a Poly clearance.Minimum of 8 years relevant experience with aBachelor’sdegree (Master’sdegree and 6 years of relevant experience or PhD with 3 years relevant experience).Strong progressiveand intensive experience inclient projectmanagement.Ability to think critically, creatively, and strategicallyExcellent written and oral communicationsExperience creating management, communications and processes on programs serving Government clients.Experience leading stakeholder teams to implement approved plans,policiesand procedures to meet mission within schedule and budget.Desired Qualifications:Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance.Project Management Institute (PMI) Program Management Professional (PgMP) OR PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) OR AAPM Master Project Manager (MPM)Certified SCRUM Master (CSM)SECURITY CLEARANCE:This Positionrequiresan Active TS/SCI and the ability to obtain a Poly, US Citizenship isrequiredTo hold this clearance.
