Responsibilities Peraton is seeking an experiencedIT OperationsInfrastructure Services Lead(ISL)to join our national intelligence program in Northern Virginia that delivers engineering, application development, deployment, operations, upgrades and sustainment of products and services to achieve our client's Global Missions.This position also serves as theISL Virtual NetworkOperations Security Center(NOSC) Team Lead.Responsibilities:Provide technicalexpertisein the design and development of IT operation environments.Develop strategy of the client/server system and the design architecture to support strategy.Researchnew technologyand advise on purchases for the clientregardingprocessing, data storage, data access, and applications development.Develop strategies for conducting studies to estimate the space, computer hardware, software and connection infrastructure resourcesrequiredon a short and long-term basis.Develop models of the computer and computer application environment,identifies, and resolves computer operation systems performance issues. Measures system usage by workload type,identifyingtrends, and estimating further resource requirements.EnsureITtasks and projects are appropriately assigned and prioritized based onprogram and customer priority.Assistin planning of projects that enhance the quality and efficiency of the team.Provide leadership,assistanceand work guidance to less experience technicians and administrators.Work with Campus Support Technicians to support the end users as needed.Maintain warranty information; ensure that the infrastructure systems aremonitoredwith regards to warranty status.Ensure thetimelyresolution of hardware and software problems associated with the data and voice network.Identifyand evaluate new products / services that would allow the team to provide improved services to our customers.Provide 2ndand 3rdTier hardware and software support for end-users.Provide after-hours support for planned maintenance, updates to technology,hardwareand software changes during non-business production hours.Perform On-Call Emergency support service.This position manages/performs Shift work to cover the 24X7 Operations.**Position is Contingent on Contract Award** Qualifications BasicQualifications:ActiveTopSecret/SensitiveCompartmentedInformation(TS/SCI)clearancewithabilitytopassaPoly clearance.Minimum of 12years of experience with aBS/BAdegree; minimum of 10 years withan MS/MA degree and a minimum of 7 years with a PhD.Experiencein the management of the Information Technology (IT) infrastructure within an organization, including the physical network (e.g., LANs/WANs, servers, terminals) as well as server applications and software.ExperiencewithITEnterpriseOperationsobservability and monitoring, Load Balancing,Traffic Management andTier 2/3 support for incidents.DesiredQualifications:ActiveTS/SCIwithPolyclearances.Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering ManagementMastersDegree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or Mathematics.Strongexperienceinnetworkadministrationtoincludethedesign,engineering,technical documentation, implementation, troubleshooting, and repair of network systems (routing, switching,firewalland voice instruments).SECURITYCLEARANCE:ThisPositionrequiresanActiveTS/SCIandtheabilitytoobtainaPoly,USCitizenshipisrequiredto obtain this clearance.
