What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a front desk location within a technology-focused environment.
- Monitor visitor access, verify identification and credentials, and help to deter unauthorized entry while maintaining a professional and welcoming presence.
- Answer phones, assist employees, guests, and/or vendors with directions and check-in processes, and document arrivals, departures, and unusual activity.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders when appropriate.
- Complete reports, maintain front desk logs, and support access control and other security-related operations in accordance with site expectations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- An active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
