Responsibilities Peraton seeks aCloud / Platform Architectto support Department of Defense Cyber Defense Command (DCDC) with DCO AI Cyber Security Support.Location: Fort Meade, MD.In this role, you will design and oversee cloud and big data platform infrastructure supporting Caspian and JCRS-D environments.Primary Responsibilities:Design cloud and platform architecturesOversee Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Flink deploymentsDefine infrastructure standards and patternsEnsure platform scalability and reliabilityGuide platform technology decisionsSupport multi-classification environments Qualifications Required Qualifications:Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D. Will consider HS 16 years of experienceExpert knowledge of big data platformsExperience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure)Understanding of distributed systemsKnowledge of containerization and orchestrationExperience with DoD cloud environmentsU.S Citizenship requiredDoD TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI clearancePreferred Qualifications:12 years of relevant experienceBachelor's degree required; Master's degree is preferred in Computer Science or a related fieldAWS/Azure Solutions Architect certificationHadoop certification
