Responsibilities
Design, develop,implementandmaintainData Centersvirtualization softwaresolutions.Design and develop enterprise solutions across colocations, datacenters, and cloud environments.Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies into thevirtualization software solutionsto enhance systemperformanceand resource efficiency.Evaluatevirtualization software solutionsvigilantlytoreduce systems complexity whilemaintainingrobust cybersecurity measures.determineneed for enhancements.Monitorvirtualization softwareperformance and resolve any issues.Monitor tools thatprovidecritical insights into workloads, depletion of resources, and peak loads of servers.Ensure data accessibility and security.Test and troubleshoot hardware and software issues for effective resolution that resolves root causes.Assess network and server architecture for efficiency, improvements, or upgrades.Create andmaintaindetailed documentation of the data centersvirtualization software, hypervisors, interfaces,layout, system, and processes.Test and troubleshoot hardware and software issues for effective resolution that resolves root causes.Assess network and server architecture for efficiency, improvements, or upgrades.Create andmaintaindetailed documentation of the data center’s layout, systems, and processes.**Position is Contingent on Contract Award**
Qualifications
BasicQualifications:Active Top Secret/ Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with ability to obtain a Poly.Minimum of 8 years relevant experience with aBachelor’sdegree(Master’sdegree and 6 years of relevantexperience;High School Diploma and 12 years ofrelevantexperience).VMware Certified Professional - Data Center VirtualizationProven work experienceprovidingData Center virtualization software solutions.Experience working in cloud environments.Preferred Qualifications:Active TS/SCI with Poly clearances.VMware Certified Advanced Professional - Data Center Virtualization DesignExperiencein enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, and colocation services.Analytical skills for cost-benefit analysis and IT strategy development.ITIL or other applicable professional certifications.Familiarity with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions and their integration into enterprise environments.Knowledge of tools such asMicrosoft Office Suite,Visio,and Salesforcesoftware.Security Clearance:This Positionrequiresan Active TS/SCI and the ability to obtain a Poly, US Citizenship isrequiredto hold this clearance.
