Responsibilities Peratonis seeking an experiencedData CenterDatabaseEngineerto join our national intelligence program  that delivers engineering, application development, deployment, operations, upgrades and sustainment of products and services to achieve our client’s global missions.The candidate must havedemonstrateddatabase engineeringexperience.The successful candidate willdesign andmaintaindatabases, manage storagecapacity,troubleshootandoptimizedatabase functionality and performancefor our clients’systems.Responsibilities:Design, develop, build, analyze, evaluate, and install database management systems to include database modeling design relational database architecture, metadata and repository creation and configuration management.Utilizedata mapping, data mining, and data transformational analysis tools to design and develop database.Determinedata storage andoptimumstorage requirements.Prepare system requirements, source analysis and process analyses, and design throughout the database implementation.Create complex functions, scripts, storedproceduresand triggers to support application development.Investigate and resolve database performance andcapacityissues.Develop,implementandmaintainengineering documentation such as processes, procedures, test cases, test results, issue resolutions, performance analysis, and user guidelines/ instructions.Develop, integrate, and migrate tonew databasesto include schemas, and stored procedures.**Position is Contingent on Contract Award** Qualifications Basic Qualifications:Active Top Secret/ Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with ability to obtain a Poly clearances.Minimum of 8 years relevant experiencewith aBachelor’sdegree (Master’sdegree and 6 years of relevant experienceor PhD with 3 years relevant experience).4 years experience may be used in Lieu of Degree.Strong knowledge in Oracle database development with ETL and data migration to develop data conversion scripts.Strong knowledge of SQL/PLSQL and database concepts.Strong knowledge of all phases of software development lifecycle and processes.Experience with software unit testing.Experience in creating andmaintainingengineering documentation.Strong communication, writing, presentation, and organization skills.Strong software trouble-shooting skills.Must work well in a team environment, collaborating with cross-functional teamsSelf-starter with the ability to independently resolve issues and deliver resultsDesired Qualifications:Active TS/SCI with Poly clearances.Knowledge in Java/JDKAble to apply engineering techniques and analytical methods to make recommendations for improvementsAbility to work effectively in a challenging,fast paced,collaborative teamenvironment.SECURITY CLEARANCE:This Positionrequiresan Active TS/SCI and the ability to obtain a  Poly, US Citizenship isrequiredto hold this clearance.
