Responsibilities
The Senior Manager, Systems Engineeringprovides leadership toa team of engineers andprofessional staffin developing,modifying, creating, and testing solutions to our client’s infrastructure related technical needs.This roleis responsibleforplanning, coordinating, and managing engineering projects to ensure on-time completion whileremaininginprogrambudgetand is accountable for the performance and results of multiple related teams.Responsibilities:Peraton is seeking a Senior Manager, Systems Engineeringto lead and manageour client’sIT infrastructure needs. The responsibilities for this position include:Designs, develops, evaluates, andmodifiesend-to-endinfrastructuresystems,productsand servicesthroughoutthe life cycle.Generates quantifiable requirements based on clientdescription, system planning, systemdesign, and acquisitionlogistics.Ensures requirementscomply withclient requirements and government standards through formal verification methods.Translates high level product development strategies into system requirement specifications and works with other engineering disciplines to develop lower-level detailed implementation requirements.Establishes and coordinates development of standards, practices, and procedures as related to the overallservice/product development.Designsinterfacesand brings system elements together, so they work as a whole.Assesses performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures.Customer liaison and support for business development activities and to understand and shape requirements.Participates in system conceptual design and documentation of the design concepts.Participates in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements through compliance verification and validation.Generates system level requirements verification procedures and customer acceptance test procedures.Reviews test plans/procedures and ensures they meet theobjectivesof the contractual requirements andparticipatesin the testing process tovalidaterequirements.Provides requirements analysis, design, engineering, security accreditation and documentation to prepare new systems for implementation**Position is Contingent on Contract Award**
Qualifications
RequiredQUALIFICATIONS:Active TS/SCI and the ability to obtain a Poly clearance.Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related disciplineand12years of experience.Minimum of12years’ experienceinSystems Engineering.8 or moreyears’ experiencemanaging an engineeringteam of technical professionals.Desired Qualifications:Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance.MastersDegree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or Mathematics is preferred.Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) Certification.SECURITY CLEARANCE:This Positionrequiresan Active TS/SCI and the ability to obtain a Poly, US Citizenship isrequiredTo hold this clearance.
