Things You Probably Should Have:
- An entrepreneurial desire to build a business
- An informed opinion on what leadership is (and is not)
- A leadership philosophy/methodology
- Experience collaborating with sales, business development, recruiting, contracts, and finance in the pursuit of new contracts/proposals
- Experience collaborating with program managers, project managers, and clients to improve the delivery of services and create “client delight”
- Experience in training and mentorship of project and program managers in the performance of their duties
- Experience being responsible and accountable for the P&L of your area of responsibility
- 10 years of Program and/or Operations Director/VP experience leading federal IT services work across multiple agencies/components
- Ability to obtain a U.S. government Security Clearance
- Local to the Washington, DC metro preferred
