Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3-10 years of experience in database administration, with a focus on cloud environments
- Active Secret Clearance
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB)
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization
- Familiarity with database security best practices and compliance standards
- Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Understanding of networking concepts and protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Security or equivalent certification
Desired Qualifications:
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Database - Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, or Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer
- Experience with database migration and replication tools
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with data warehousing and big data technologies (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Target salary range: $77,000 - $125,000
