POSITION OVERVIEW
Seeking a highly experienced and motivated Systems Engineer to support enterprise-level systems integration, data center operations, and technical advisory functions in support of an Intelligence Community (IC) customers. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of delivering complex technical solutions across multi-site, multi-program environments while serving as a trusted advisor to senior government leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Systems Engineering & Integration:
- Plan, coordinate, schedule, and execute systems integration projects from inception through commissioning and operational acceptance.
- Conduct technical exchange meetings (TEMs) with acquisition offices, system owners, and stakeholders to facilitate requirements analysis.
- Review, analyze, and comment on change requests including RFCs, Non-Standard Service Requests, and Request Items impacting site resources.
- Utilize DCIM tools to manage system implementation, maintain project tracking, and collaborate in milestone and TEM meetings.
Acquisition & SETA Support:
- Collaborate with SETA teams on end-to-end contract lifecycle management including market surveillance, solicitation creation, budget oversight, SOW writing, and CDRL review.
- Assess RFPs/RFIs and write technical proposals in accordance with program requirements.
- Elicit and deliver customer requirements documentation including Statements of Work.
- Work with cross-functional teams to build and support price-to-win proposals.
- Provide subject matter expertise on emerging technologies including generative AI, security logging, machine learning, and data architecture.
Program & Project Management:
- Provide overall leadership and administrative direction to configuration management, access management, and communications security teams.
- Host and support milestone meetings including site surveys, PSA/PSR, ORR, ORD, and OAR events.
- Provide weekly written and oral program-level briefings for senior management and cross-agency personnel.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, metrics, and Gantt charts for mission directors and government leadership.
- Author and manage task authorization maintenance service (TAMS) requests to initiate project startups and approve project completions.
- Document and work with stakeholders to resolve issues, liens, and risks across all assigned projects.
Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory:
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on cutting-edge technologies and their strategic application.
- Foster inter-agency collaboration and bridge communications between diverse stakeholder groups.
- Interface daily with customers and clients, reporting project progress through meetings and formal project reports.
- Support R&D transition facilitation, ensuring smooth movement of emerging technologies from research to practical application.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Project Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent).
Experience:
- Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in systems engineering, integration, IT operations, or related technical disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience supporting Intelligence Community (IC) and/or DoD programs.
- Proven experience in project management, systems engineering, configuration management, and enterprise systems integration.
- Experience with contract lifecycle management, acquisition support, and SETA functions.
- Experience conducting technical briefings to senior government leadership and executive stakeholders.

PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS:
- Primarily office-based location in Contractor or Government spaces.
- Ability to work in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) required.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally in support of program requirements.
Clearance:
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI polygraph required.
