- A Doctorate or Master of Science degree in a STEM field, with a strong preference for disciplines directly related to Computational Electromagnetics, Physics, or Electrical Engineering.
- A minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional or academic experience in the field of Computational Electromagnetics or a closely related area. (Experience gained during graduate-level research is applicable).
- Proficiency Demonstrated proficiency in C , Matlab, Python, Fortran or similar programming language is required.
- Expertise A strong foundation in electromagnetic theory is essential. Expertise in one or more of the following is highly desirable: high-frequency asymptotic methods (e.g., Physical Optics, Ray Tracing), full-wave high-fidelity methods (e.g., FDTD, FEM, MoM), High-Performance Computing (HPC), GPU acceleration.
- Intermediate-to-advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite-Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
- Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically
The salary range for this position is between $150,000 - $160,000
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Top Secret clearance at this location.
