You will serve as a Electronics Technician (Air Traffic Control Systems) in the Air Operations Department of NAS PENSACOLA.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Reviewing technical airfield electronic work for compliance with regulations; 2) Troubleshooting and repairing airfield electronic equipment, air traffic control systems, radar, instrument approach systems, navigational aids, and communications systems to solve complex technical problems or improve system performance; 3) Evaluating equipment design to improve or enhance circuit and system operation; 4) Using applicable test equipment, test methods, and practices as related to the Air Traffic Control equipment and systems, including safety precautions; 5) Performing site certification of ATC and airfield landing systems; 6) Apply specialized technical expertise in Air Traffic Control (ATC), ground-based navigational aids (NAVAIDs), and instrument landing systems. **Note: Your experience must be demonstrated in your resume to be considered for the position.** The Applicant must possess at least one of the following Navy Classification Codes or their equivalent.
