Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) direct, operational experience in antiterrorism, force protection, physical security, or a closely related law enforcement or intelligence field; 2) conducting terrorism threat analysis, criticality assessments, and comprehensive vulnerability assessments; 3) planning for and responding to a range of terrorist and criminal incidents; 4) establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with law enforcement agencies and/or intelligence agencies; and 5) exceptional written and oral communication abilities, with skill in briefing senior leadership staff on complex security matters. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Superior Qualifications, Recruitment Incentive, and/or Relocation Incentive may be offered based on command funding and within applicable regulations. Several vacancies may be filled. Position designated as a Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) position with additional credentialling requirement of Antiterrorism Credential (ATC) and Physical Security Certification (PSC). Credentialling must be obtained and maintained in accordance with SECNAVINST 5500.38.
