As a Air Vehicle Engineer you will support development, integration, and testing of air vehicles.
Other Job duties include:
- Develops and reviews documentation for system safety review boards.
- Reviews specifications, designs, and technical data related to air vehicles, control surfaces, control laws, propulsion systems, and stores.
- Edits and review detailed test plans and review test results from system testing.
- Reviews technical requirements, designs, and implementations of aircraft subsystems.
- Coordinates with aircraft and payload developers, test personnel, and safety boards on areas related to system testing to ensure successful delivery of capabilities.
- Reviews technical packages to support verification of requirements
Required Experience:
- 12 years' experience of relevant Department of War program experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in SAP and/or SCI environment, with at least 1 year within the last 5 years
- Ability to work on high-visibility, mission-critical aspects of a program and perform all functional duties independently
- Ability to communicate both orally and in writing concisely and with technical accuracy
- Ability to translate complex ideas and data into simple, actionable recommendations or easily differentiated courses of action
Education Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in a Engineering discipline or relevant field
Clearance Requirements:
The pay range for this position is $160,000/year to $210,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors.
