Responsibilities
Mission Engineer and Integrator technical expertise and support for CI risk management mission within foreign intelligence operations planning and execution. Tasks shall include, but are not limited to the following:Assist Sponsor personnel conducting risk management and governance responsibilities in reviewing, defining, and clarifying operational requirementsAnalyze situational conditions and constraints to identify appropriate technologies, capabilities, systems, and equipment to meet operational requirementsSupport the generation of, and updates to, concepts of operationsProvide operational input to the development of new systems, capabilities, and equipmentProvide tradecraft recommendations and best practices during operations planning, assessment, and approvalsEnsure technical and operational constraints are communicated and addressed as part of operational planning and executionPerform trade studies from testing and evaluation lessons learned, new intelligence gained, and/or operational feedback and provide recommendations for system modifications and upgradesSupport the development of operational procedures to include identification of mission contingenciesProvide recommendations with respect to end-to-end system capability gaps affecting usability and operability of systemsReview all-source reporting on assigned portfolios to produce counterintelligence guidance on inherent or known risks and mitigations surrounding the use of technologyPerform technical security and risk assessments to identify points of vulnerability and operational security risks, and recommend risk mitigation strategiesValidate and verify operational and technical requirementsUse established Sponsor standards and regulations to address system non-compliance and provide recommendations to improve complianceSupport the deployment of operational technology systems and equipmentWrite or contribute to operational correspondence in various formats and venues.
Qualifications
Required:Active TS/SCI with relevant polygraph.Minimum of 12 years of experience with a BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with PhD; an additional four years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.Customer-specific experience is required.Prior experience with the customer's official messaging system.Ability to support mission activities either early in the morning or late in the evening as mission needs require.Willing to support OCONUS TDYs from time-to-time.Desired:Prefer prior AOR experience.
