TheCopierTechnician will bebased at one of three Amentum sites in Iraq and serve the Operations and MaintenanceSupportServices(OMSS)contract in support of theU.S.Department of State.Thisposition will beresponsible for the repair,maintenance,installation,and upgrade of all copierequipment on siteand willreportto the IT Senior Manager or SiteManager. Thedutiesandresponsibilitieslistedbelow are representative of the natureand level of workassigned and are notnecessarily all inclusive. "TEMPEST Certification is required".
DUTIES:
Responsible for maintaining a safeworkplace and ensuring thatsafety is thehighestpriority in the workplace.
Comply with all Environmental Health & Safety and QualityAssurancerequirementsand goals. Provideinformation and materials to thesedivisionsasnecessary to ensureadequate and legal documentation.
Installand maintain equipment in a variety of workspacesand provide technicalsupport.
Establish andmaintainnecessaryrecord-keeping proceduresforservicelogs,andsecurepartsordering/trackingspreadsheets that will allowforeasiertraining and transition forfuturepersonnel.
Perform a variety of complextechnical functionsrelated to the support of engineeringactivitiessuch asinstallation,operation, maintenance, modification,circuittesting,calibration,andtroubleshooting of electronic or electromagneticsystems.
Troubleshootanalog,digital,and/orvideo type circuitsand logicsystems;diagnose/correctequipmentand systemmalfunctions which failtorespondtostandard corrective measures.
Preparereports,charts,and graphsformanagementpersonnel to useinmakingdecisions which will beinstrumentalin the ultimateperformance of IT xerographicequipment.
Maintain a centrally-shared informationrepository whereabove informationcanberetrievedforfutureusebycopiertechnicians/engineers.
Performadditionaldutiesand projects as assigned.
REQUIRED:
MinimumAcceptableExperienceLevel:
Two years’diversifiedexperiencein theinstallation,operation,maintenance,modification, circuittesting,calibrating,and troubleshooting of electronic orelectromagnetic systems.
Experienceinmaintenance and repairtoolsand equipmentusedin theinstallation of electrical/electronics.
TEMPEST Certification is required.

Education: A high schooldiploma or GED. A vocationaldiploma in Communications,Electronics,Electrician, or InternetTechnology or have completed a certified copier technicalprogram. TEMPEST Certification is required.

As part of pre-contingency requirements, by the time the visa process starts, candidates must possess a valid passport with a minimum of 18 months remaining to expiration date with 8 blank pages.

Previous out of homecountryexperienceand previousworkexperience in harsh environmentalconditions are a plus.
