Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations. Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods. May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
1. Bachelor's degree with minimum 5 years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.
2. Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
3. Extensive experience in developing large layout designs for equipment and workspaces to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
4. Proficiency with various work measurement techniques such as predetermined motion time systems (PMTS), work sampling, and direct time study.
5. Extensive experience in continuous improvement initiatives and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00
