Roles/Responsibilities
  • Research and design novel data analytics and machine learning/deep learning applications.
  • Develop streaming and/or distributed software to implement these algorithms.
  • Understand operational requirements for data science solutions and update implementations to meet these specifications.  
  • Leverage and improve methods to standardize, normalize, and ingest highly disparate data into big data warehouses.
  • Test and deploy professional-grade data science software solutions to multiple networks.
  • Generate explainable models and clearly present solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Desired Skills/Qualifications
  • Pursuing degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or closely related field.
  • Proficient in Python.
  • Understanding of object-oriented and test-driven programming.
  • Experience with noSQL data management frameworks (e.g., Elasticsearch, MongoDB).
  • Experience with data visualization technologies (e.g., Kibana, Matplotlib, MatLab, R).
  • Experience with software development lifecycle and use of associated tools. 
  • Mathematical knowledge of optimization, multi-variate calculus, probably & statistics, linear algebra, and numerical methods.
  • Knowledge of supervised and unsupervised machine learning/deep learning concepts such as Artificial Neural Networks, SVMs, Random Forests, Gaussian Processes, and other techniques.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new skills and technologies on the job.
  • High level of self-initiative and self-motivation with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
The contracts ICR has with its customers require a security clearance, which, at a minimum, requires applicants to be U.S. citizens. Proof of citizenship will be required as part of the hiring process.
Pay Range:  $30 - $38 per hour
  • Rate based on year of college and internship status (new/returning)
ICR offers a great summer internship program with real, hands-on work experience on actual projects.   Mentorship is taken seriously.  We want you to feel like you are part of the team.   All work and no play doesn't make for a great company culture, so we plan in some social and community events throughout the program.   A high percentage of our interns that are offered full-time positions after graduation.  Some of our more junior interns, who perform well, are invited to return for the following summer internship.

Pay Range: $30 - $38 per hour
