The Lockheed Martin Next Generation Geo (NGG) team is seeking experienced level 2 DevSecOps Systems Engineer with an active Secret clearance to work from either our Boulder, CO or Longmont, CO location.
SBIRS and the Next‑Gen GEO OPIR ground stations form the backbone of the United States’ missile‑warning architecture. By delivering near‑real‑time, high‑confidence detection of ballistic missile launches and other hostile trajectories, these systems provide life‑saving early warning for the warfighter, enable rapid decision‑making, and support cueing of defensive interceptors and command‑and‑control assets. Your work will directly protect troops, allies, and critical infrastructure worldwide.
The Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) Infrastructure Team is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate the ground‑station platform that supports both SBIRS and the Next‑Gen GEO OPIR ground stations. You will work hand‑in‑hand with infrastructure engineers and mission specialists to automate provisioning, configuration, and continuous‑delivery pipelines for ultra‑reliable, secure, and scalable ground‑systems.

Performs tech planning, design, devel, integ, v&v for total syst life cycle. Analyses performed at all levels of syst product incl. concept, design, fabrication, test, instl, operation, maintenance & disposal, incorp design methods & stds for Cyber Security, SW & HW infrastructure. Designs, devels, docs, tests & debugs SW that contains logical & math solutions to business/mission problems/questions in computer language. Ensures the logical & syst conversion of customer/product reqs into total syst solutions that ack tech, sched, cost constraints & align to SW & HW deployment pipelines & factories. Performs func & timeline analysis, detail trade & reqs allocation & interface defs studies to translate customer reqs into HW & SW feature defs & acceptance criteria. Applies stds, processes, procedures & tools throughout the devel life cycle. Applies HW & SW knowledge, cyber security stds in business/mission apps, & feedback from users to develop SW. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles doc of program devel & analyzes syst capabilities to resolve program problems, output/input data acq, programming tech & controls. Ensures SW stds are met. Validates incorp of features & use cases into implemented designs

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $91200.00 - $169400.00
