The Surge Training Assistant provides dedicated stand-up capacity for the Mission Delta 31 (MD 31) Training Support task order during the Base Period and Option Year 1, focused on initial PEX database bootstrapping, backlog resolution, and cross-functional scheduling support. This is a temporary, fixed-duration position that demobilizes at the start of Option Year 2 as the training program transitions to steady-state operations.
ResponsibilitiesProgram Stand-Up Support
- Coordinate and execute the initial set-up, population, and validation of user profiles, course architectures, and historical training records in the PEX database.
- Identify, catalog, and resolve backlogs of manual grade sheets, training waivers, and qualification records.
- Support mapping of existing Master Task Lists (MTLs) and Ready Spacecrew Program (RSP) requirements into the digital PEX structure.
Logistical & Cross-Functional Support
- Assist with administrative coordination, student registrations, room assignments, and facility setup for concurrent Qualification Training (QT) and Advanced Training (AT) cycle launches.
- Provide general database entry, scheduling, and metrics collection backfill during peak load periods.
- Support a smooth transition from legacy tracking methods to the unified PEX system.
Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2-4 years of relevant training administration, records management, or data entry experience.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume stand-up environment with shifting priorities.
- Active SECRET security clearance required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Patriot Excalibur (PEX) or a similar training/readiness management database.
- Prior experience supporting contract transitions or program stand-ups.
- Experience supporting U.S. Space Force or Air Force training units.
