Lockheed Martin is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor for a position in Troy, AL. This role is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a work group, ensuring high-quality products, excellent performance, and on-time delivery. All functions and job duties assigned to theManufacturing Supervisor, include, but are not limited to:

Daily supervision of a team
Building effective relationships
Planning and assigning work to teammates
Ensuring all teammates are adequately trained and prepared for work
Tracking performance metrics, attendance, throughput, and standards
Assisting in the development of strategies to increase throughput and reduce inefficiencies
Ensuring a safe and inclusive workplace
Working with ESH to ensure that safety and environmental policies and procedures are followed

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/combined education
Working knowledge of computing resources including MS Office applications
Proven ability to manage cost, quality, and schedule metrics
Experience managing hourly performance, assignments, training, labor records, and overtime schedules
Must be able to perform in a team and customer-focused work environment, maintaining effective communication with internal / external customers
Must obtain a secret clearance prior to starting

**Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (“ATF”) background check to obtain approval to be an “employee possessor” (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment.

Ability to provide Leadership and obtain Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
Working knowledge and previous experience managing cost, quality, and schedule metrics

Excellent oral, active listening, written communications skills and team building skills
Knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies and demonstrated experience in the development and evaluation of effective preventive/corrective action plans

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $72500.00 - $134600.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
