• Reviews, evaluates, and approves MRP requirements, purchase requisitions, and inventory transfers to ensure project and production requirements are met.
• Reviews cycle count results, analyzes and resolves inventory discrepancies, and coordinates corrective actions as required.
• Analyzes and resolves routine and non‑routine obsolete and excess inventory issues; reviews and analyzes ABC codes and order policies of parts.
• Reviews, analyzes, and resolves conflicts in supply and demand, and investigates as required; presents findings and recommended solutions to management.
• Develops and maintains reports and procedures for inventory monitoring and control, including use of Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, filters, and data analysis tools).
• Coordinates with IT in developing and refining inventory data collection and reporting from SAP and other systems.
• Maintains, implements, and assists in the development of inventory control programs to ensure project(s) and production requirements are met on time and within budget.
• Reviews and evaluates inventory control policies and procedures, and makes recommendations for changes and process improvements.
• Analyzes and maintains sufficient inventory levels to meet production, Hi‑time, and repair requirements, while maintaining inventory levels in accordance with management guidelines.
• Analyzes cycle count results and investigates discrepancies outside specific tolerances; identifies root causes and drives corrective actions.
• Reviews and analyzes inventory issue and receipt transactions, safety stock requirements, and Economic Order Quantity calculations.
• Analyzes and processes inventory write‑offs related to inventory obsolescence.
• Sales Order and SAP Responsibilities:
  • Uses SAP to track and monitor Sales Orders from creation through fulfillment, ensuring accuracy of quantities, ship dates, and delivery status.
  • Reconciles pending Sales Order quantities against available and on‑hand inventory in the warehouse and system records.
  • Compares and analyzes warehouse inventory levels versus Sales Orders that are marked as fulfilled in SAP to identify discrepancies.
  • Investigates and tracks down missing items or mismatches between physical inventory and system records so that Sales Orders can be fulfilled; coordinates with warehouse, production, shipping, and customer service as needed.
  • Prepares and maintains Excel‑based trackers and dashboards to monitor open Sales Orders, backorders, shortages, and fulfillment performance.

• Typically requires a bachelor's degree in business administration or related field. Equivalent professional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
• General understanding of inventory planning and control standards, practices, concepts, and principles.
• Working knowledge of computer‑based manufacturing systems and MRP.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis functions (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, conditional formatting, filters, and basic formulas) to analyze and reconcile inventory and Sales Order data.
• Experience working in SAP or comparable ERP system, specifically with Sales Order entry, tracking, and inventory transactions.
• Ability to track, reconcile, and analyze Sales Orders versus inventory levels and investigate discrepancies to support timely order fulfillment.
