Standard Job Description

You will be the Electro Mechanical Engineer - MCAD Librarian for the Electro Mechanical & ECAD Library team at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC). You will create, verify, and maintain mechanical part models in Creo in accordance with standards, ensuring designers across the organization have access to accurate, high-quality library content. This is a fully remote role supporting the broader Electro Mechanical & ECAD Library team.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Electro Mechanical Engineer - MCAD Librarian, you will ensure that every mechanical part model is accurate, functional, and compliant with team standards. Your responsibilities will include:

• Create and maintain mechanical part models in Creo in accordance with standards.

• Support Windchill-based library administration and part data management.

• Collaborate with electro mechanical, hardware, and design engineers to resolve library related issues.

• Maintain documentation and version control for library components.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. 

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field

• Demonstrated proficiency in Creo (Parametric) for mechanical part and model creation

• Working knowledge of Windchill for PLM/data management

• Must be a US Citizen; this position is located at a facility that requires special access

Desired Skills

• 5+ years of experience creating and maintaining mechanical part models in Creo

• Windchill administration experience (workflows, lifecycle states, library/content management)

• Experience building, standardizing, and maintaining mechanical parts libraries

• Familiarity with mechanical drafting/modeling standards and best practices (e.g., GD&T, ASME Y14.5)

• Experience collaborating with electro mechanical, hardware, and design engineers to resolve library-related issues

• Knowledge of hardware development processes, including requirements definition, design, and verification/test
