C2BMC is an IDIQ structured program comprised of multiple task orders responsible for the design, development, deployment, integration, testing, operations and sustainment of a software based Command/Control and Battle Management system. This system provides US Commanders around the globe essential situational awareness and is the integrating element central to the MDA’s missile defense missions. The MDA Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) National Team and collaborates with multiple government agencies, contractors, universities, and other organizations to accomplish a broad reaching mission.
Who You Are
A successful candidate must understand and be dedicated to the C2BMC Mission including Missile and Space Defense. The successful candidate will need to utilize good communication skills and good organizational skills to facilitate collaboration across the many organizations necessary to accomplish challenging missions. The selected candidate will join a high performing team as a C2BMC Watch Officer (CWO) and will report to the C2BMC Command Center (CCC) Operations Lead and is responsible for day-to-day oversight and guidance of 125+ personnel (24x7 crew filling CCC crew positions and globally dispersed assets) based on overarching direction/guidance and objectives. The CWO is responsible for oversight and management of all C2BMC operations, to include monitoring and reporting on health and status of the global C2BMC enterprise.
The Work
The CWO oversees C2BMC Operations & Maintenance (O&M), network monitoring, and network defense of the C2BMC mission systems, and makes day-to-day decisions on the operations floor to assure the availability, quality, and security of services vital to C2BMC mission systems operations, command and control (C2), and information sharing. Responsible for the accuracy of all reports, keeping leadership informed, recommending courses of action, and maintaining the current status of all systems at all times. The CWO maintains operations floor integrity and ensures crew members are appropriately trained, certified, and able to perform all assigned missions and ensuring shifts are properly manned and performs thorough changeover briefs. Position requires 24x7 shift work. Candidate will be assigned to a rotating 12-hr shift, to be determined by mission requirements. Some substitute rotation during off-shifts; including nights and weekends will be required. Performs other related duties and assignments as required.

Standard Job Description
Coordinates planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. Plans and formulates engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00
