Standard Job Description
Manages software development effort as well as organizing and managing software lab activities. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Oversees the design, development, documentation, and testing of software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Responsible for classified equipment and applicable inventory practices. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Ensures software standards are met.
Basic Qualifications
- Demostrated leadership skills and behaviors that align with Full Spectrum Leadership Imperatives
- 7+ years experience with Software Development efforts on large DoW programs
- Experience managing software labs
- Experience leading technical meeting for software development efforts
- Knowledgable in Software Engineering Processes and Tools
- Experience with developing and using software analysis tools
- Experience presenting to program leadership and to the Customer
- Active Secret clearance
Desired Skills
- Experience planning SW efforts including budgeting, staffing, and tools
- Experience supporting technical performance of the project through control activities including reviews, metrics collections, and managing corrective actions
- Experience with Control Account Management
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $120600.00 - $224000.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
